Argentina are the overwhelming favourites to top Group F and if, as expected, they do take top spot, it will be left for Bosnia, Iran and Nigeria to scrap it out for second place. Nigeria are the current African Cup of Nations holders and are the team with the most pedigree besides Argentina. Bosnia are playing in their first ever World Cup, but are being tipped to do well and Iran, managed by Carlos Queiroz, are at the World Cup again after missing out in 2010.
Group F Runner Up Odds
Just naming a few of Argentina’s forwards should be enough to strike fear into the hearts of most national teams. Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Angel Di Maria and of course, Lionel Messi the least they should be expecting is top spot. Argentina are 1.07 to qualify at William Hill but it’s anticipated that they will win the group. Nigeria are a pretty strong side and with players such as Emmanuel Emineke, John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses they could qualify. Nigeria are 2.4 to qualify at Ladbrokes. Despite this being their first World Cup Bosnia boast a fairly solid squad of players with Edin Dzeko, Vedad Ibisevic and Miralem Pjanic. Bosnia are 1.95 to qualify at William Hill. Unfortunately it seems like this group might be a bit too much for Iran - they are 7.00 to qualify at Bet Victor.
Best Group F Bet
Argentina, especially with their side, should expect nothing less than top spot and they are 1.29 to win Group F at Coral. However, this is the World Cup and nothing is for certain. If Bosnia’s players all perform they are more than capable of taking points off all the sides in the group. Bosnia are 8.5 to top Group F at Ladbrokes.
